These guys are trying to sink us, Greg.  I'm stepping away.  But really, haven't we had enough?

Everyone: This is a textbook example of how the disruptors conduct themselves.

Gasbag bullies think that the rules don't apply to them. Pseudo-intellectual gasbag bullies give you a reason why a particular rule doesn't apply to them.

Greg: A small point but nevertheless, a relevant one.

You chose not to place "in red" #4 of the "Rules of engagement" but it reads thus:

Members are prohibited from demanding that another member respond to a post or answer a question. Badgering another member for an answer will not be tolerated.

Let me place this exchange from an earlier posting by Mr Hastings:

 Hastings: Nailed it Robert. Cheers!

 Drago:Nailed what?

 Hastings: His post.

 Drago: Nailed what?
Answer the damn question.

To be fair to Mr. Hastings, although he may not have understood "the rules" he's not the only one who violated them.

Repeating a question even with added emphasis is permitted. Badgering [READ: pestering] will not be tolerated.

Jim, I just re-read your initial post and the line which jumps out is this:

No need for the Oswald fables to be refuted but the tracks and fingerprints back to Angleton are at the least most probable and defendable as truth.

Oswald fables indeed.  I tossed Mailer's Oswald's Tale as it is most assuredly not--it's Mailer's recitation of the old wives' tale.

The young man was an intelligence operative--and a very active one.

Not the "believing Marxist" of Priscilla Johnson McMillan in 2007.

In A Certain Arrogance Lee is sacrificed in the subtitle.

And that's your second clause, Angleton's tale.

He set up, with collaboration of Phillips, the Red Plot, the Mexico City charade.

Which, to avoid catastrophe, was collapsed to lone gunman.

It  was among other things policy change by gunplay.

We aren't having peace, and we aren't having intelligence oversight, and we aren't having Federal Reserve reform et cetera.

The play is too light--beat the sheet metal backstage with the swinging hammers.

Spend a decade in mass murder, sacrificing a generation of young in uniform and a subcontinent of tens of thousands of innocents.

Gorge the defense industries.

Now tarnish the memory and smear the character, deny the change in policy.

Angleton as a global coordinator.

How convenient that Soviets place Nikita Khrushchev under house arrest and install Bushy Eyebrows aka Chest-O-Medals.

And Fidelissimo is rescued from demarche.

Disruption, for war is profitable whereas peace does not wearout the plowshares fast enough.

The censorship is imposed discreetly, by humiliation, ridicule, appeal to authority, intimidation, death by plausible accident or disease.

It is maintained by government, media, academia cooperating in a lie.

It is a big lie of the type Hitler wrote of in Mein Kampf.

Yet it punctures easily enough.  The president was not shot in the front from behind by a man not in the window who fired no rifle.

The lie is cheap and plentiful.

Can we find a video of Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., telling Rose, Dallas, PBS audience his father suspected. . ."rogue CIA officers"?

All water is wet.  When the people reject the attack on Syria for WMDs there is hope.

When they are slow to react to ISIS and another "three-year war" it is the inertia so delightful to the cabal.

The method O'Brien explained to Winston Smith is in use.

Now is the circular reasoning of terror threat requires pervasive surveillance while intelligence is behind the terror threat--

Arab Spring as CIA-NATO destabilization of the region.  Putin to power in 1999 with KGB-veterans blasting Moscow apartments.

China strikes hard at democratizers, internet users, labor organizers, Muslims in the west, Christians in the living room, Falun Gong ladies in the park

Oceania, Eurasia, Eastasia require foreign enemies and internal Goldstein/Brotherhood sedition

Thanks Phil,

"Power is perpetuated through deceit

Speaking truth in a time of universal deceit is a revolutionary act"

Confess I never read Mailer except his novel of war (Naked and the Dead) and Ms. McM something just turned me off of her long ago.

Before I knew she was a CIA wannabee she gave off the funk of deception.

Also admit I was so disgusted in the early 80s when the HSCA was aborted that I ignored all that crap coming out and about all things JFK,RFK and MLK.

Somewhere after "Best Evidence" and "Reasonable Doubt" and before "High Treason" and "Crossfire" something lit the pilot light again.

I did not expect a hollywood film to appear but it was clear new data was reaching out of the morass of BS.

At the same time, I was being galvanized by the Iran-Contra BS. The covert government was alive and well and pardoned from responsibility.

The last straw is the idea that a light Colonel in the USMC serving at the NSC's direction would have a free pass

to operate as a rogue and unpunished criminal protected by executive session closed to the public and classified in due time.

The news media's censorship of the Ollie North story is just a vile to me as any.

Including the censorship of all "anti-fable" truth JFK and RFK and MLK.

In all my bitching about censorship at least as vile is the societal censorship by assent of the majority (or a presentation of a tiny minoirty as a majority).

This is the censorship that so easily slips into ad hominim attack and useless like junk.

Odd though that truth doesn't sink into the pile of cesspool, it floats.

And shines like a diamond in a goat's butt by contrast.

Thanks Again Phil.

Jim, you're talking about history as two tines of the fork:  the actual events versus the version broadcast from the bullhorns of government, media, academia.

C.D. Jackson wrote Eisenhower's October 1952 speech calling for all agencies of government to speak with one voice.

There was once a buzz phrase "managed news" which has gone out like a firefly of August--'though we'd have to admit it's all managed now.

Consider that the following call to action by Ike's psyops chief in war and peace sixty-two years ago resonates with Wisner's Mockingbird Wurlitzer:

BEGIN C.D. JACKSON 8 OCT 1952:

"Our aim in "cold war is not conquest of territory or subjugation by force. Our aim is more subtle, more pervasive, more complete. We are trying to get the world by peaceful means to believe the truth . That truth is that American want a world at peace, a world in which peoples shall have opportunity for maximum individual development.

The means we shall employ to spread this truth are often called 'psychological.' Don't be afraid of that term just because it's a five-dollar, five-syllable word. 'Psychological warfare' is the struggle for the minds and wills of men.

Many people think "psychological warfare" means just propaganda . . . But propaganda is not the most important part in this struggle.

The present Administration has never yet been able to grasp the full import of a psychological effort put forth on a national scale.

What would such a peace time or "cold war" national strategy mean? It would mean, in the first place, the selection of broad, national purposes and the designation within those purposes of principal targets.

Then it would mean this: Every significant act of Government should be so timed and so directed at a principal target, and so related to other government actions, that it will produce the maximum effect.  It means that our government in this critical matter will no longer be divided into air-tight compartments.

It means that, in carrying out a national policy, every department and every agency of government that can make a useful contribution will bring its full strength to bear under a co-ordinated program.  We shall no longer have a Department of State that deals with foreign policy in an aloof cloister, a defense establishment that makes military appraisals in a vacuum; a Mutual Security Administration that, with sovereign independence, spends billions overseas. We must bring the dozens of agencies and bureaus into concerted action under an overall scheme of strategy ..."---

Eisenhower, 8 Oct 1952 (Written by CD Jackson)

END C.D. JACKSON 8 OCT 1952:

So when the truth penetrates the propaganda it is grotesque--how Matrix-like our existence.

The Warren Report is deconstructed in Gerald McKnight, Breach of Trust: How the Warren Commission Failed the Nation and Why, 2005.

The HSCA is seen in its ugly complicity with evil in Gaeton Fonzi, The Last Investigation.

The Helms operation to crush Garrison in Jim DiEugenio, Destiny Betrayed second edition.

We have a breakthrough perspective of the interbellum era from Guido Giacomo Preparata, Conjuring Hitler, 2005--

--and see Allen Dulles' hand in Stephen Kinzer, The Brothers.

Dulles embraced Gehlen after Tehran-Potsdam-Yalta created Churchill's (et alia) Iron Curtain, the new business model.

In Kevin Ryan, Another Nineteen: Investigating Legitimate 9/11 Suspects, the follow-on War on Terror is rolled out--

--with a preview by Vladimir Putin and the KGB Traditional Marching Band's socko hit Blowing Up Russia 1999

as reviewed by the late defector Alexander Litvinenko victim of the termination with prejudice and polonium of the Stalinophiles

What can be seen in Evica's depiction of Dulles in Bern in 1917 as German military sent Lenin's train to destabilize the Eastern Front

Or in Acheson's "omission" of Korea from U.S. defense perimeter Press Club speech 1950

C.D. Jackson apparently died from unstated cause in 1964 a few weeks before the release of the Warren Report

He advised that the choir would sing from the official hymnal

The official line that year was necessary response to North Vietnamese provocation

As the response in 2001 was a war in Afghanistan and a war in Iraq

And now as those sand castles dissolve back into the beach with the help of the CIA-NATO Arab Spring

We are presented with ISIS the shiny new threat ostensibly from Saudi (whom Baer says owns USG) and Turkey (NATO ally or not)

and Qatar (Your Terror Credit Application is Automatically Accepted)

Mailer who styled himself anti war bought and sold the propaganda covering up the Unspeakable assassination of the anti war president

Chomsky the red-carpet star of academia denies the one-eighty U.S. policy took after shooting the head off the man of peace

Johnson is taught as the Let Us Continue completer of 35's policies

Thus It Is Proven C.D. Jackson triumphant beyond his wildest dreams:

The government-media-academia snake pit devours truth and excretes lies

While factions cheer their team, Team Obama, Team Bush, Team Clinton et cetera et cetera et cetera

We need but one honest man woman or child to stand and tell the emperor

Your tailor is the devil despite your marketing department's hype du jour

No to three years of the ISIS war or the King of Drones or the thousand provocations to hate and violence

We will expose and exposing forgive

But neither in isolation

Yin without yang

unthinkable

Jackson and Rostow worked on such programs as the World Economic Policy, opposing Kennan's containment and the Naval War College's Burnham's more agressive policy vis-a-vis the Soviets.

The interplay here is very enlightening--and one wonders where is Allen Dulles and where is John Foster Dulles in this business--

--particularly as has been pointed out, in 1948 John Foster's Pan-American conference in Bogota was the occasion of the hypnopatsy assassination of Gaitan, and the Dulles helmsmanship of CIA began with Eisenhower and the coups in Iran and Guatemala

Regarding Jackson an historical analysis offers:

Ironically, in seizing on the content of liberation and giving it new form, Jackson, Rostow, and their allies risked a self-defeating rhetorical enterprise, for by abandoning ethical consistency, they eviscerated liberation’s moral integrity, and thus could not but weaken its rhetorical and aesthetic power in American foreign policy discourse.

The One Word the Kremlin Fears: C.D. Jackson, Cold War Liberation and American Political-Economic Adventurism

http://nogorman.file...-3-o-gorman.pdf

I posit it is not beyond consideration that Jackson's death and the Warren Report are not unrelated.

He opined that between Eisenhower's absolute-zero and a fully active president there was much room for opportunism--for to fail to act left a vacuum the enemy filled every day--or so he told a secret Princeton economic seminar in 1954.

One must ask, while such men debated policy, were there not men making policy, not in supposedly secret seminars but in truly invisible councils.

The assassination prepared and executed even as the KGB removed Khrushchev.

Such affairs too important to leave to think tanks.

Three years to battle ISIS which is someone's proxy--is it ours, the Saudis', Turkey's, Qatar's?

Never the full story, not re Tonkin Gulf the year Jackson died and Brezhnev arrived.

Jackson's import was in his pondering how the Soviets could within 48 hours respond in synchronized dispatches from farflung centers.

He sought to instill a unified approach to the USG

I suggest we have it in spades in government-media-academia

The divisiveness is the race war and class war encouraged in the panoply of bombarding emitters

While the central power increases surveillance and the lethality of stealthy murder from the B-2 to the drone to the plausible accident or natural death

The complaint of the victim of conspiracy is that it has disappeared and arguments to its culpability are met with a stone wall of denial

We are the sappers

To the cathedral arch and flying buttress of Cass Sunstein we present the irrestible force of truth

Self-monitored and enforced self-restraint is the preferred response when to do so compromises neither principle nor shirks responsibility. Thank you for expressing it so eloquently.

On another note, Steve Martin once described his Study of Philosophy while he was in college, thusly: "You learn to ask the right questions, like: 'Is it immoral to shout THEATER in a crowded fire house?'"

'Is it immoral to shout THEATER in a crowded fire house?'

A quandary indeed. And for Christmas no less.

I take a little pride in providing the enemies of truth in cyberspace a quandary,

How does one interfer with a group of truth speakers, truth finders by independent analysis/review, when that group self monitors and self-controls all including principles?

The coupe d'grace is the rejection of useless LN junk as an offhand matter of fact.

Matter of fact quandary...

Difficult to dodge Mr. Horne's disclosures for the LN folks caught in the tar.

The real matters are sifted discussed argued as to reliabilty of sources not personality and consensus is not always reached but positions are known to be arrived at by views and reviews.

Respected as valid no agreement needed.

I like that...

Or maybe the critical thinking came from machinery/toolbox engineering instead of philosophy?

I dunno.

Have a great holiday with family and friends

Jim

And about those playing the Confuseum's tarpit,

Reptiles to birds fable provides the feathers? Oh never mind.

Reptiles to office holders for bucks? Oh never mind even more....

Somebody said "We will expose and exposing forgive..."

Yup.

MSM, fascism (closeted or not) and a citizen’s choice.

A funny thing comes to TV. After weeks of pro-fascists productions glorifying such fascists as Henry Ford, J.P. Morgan, Andrew Carnegie as “titans of industry” and their activities as the rightful “American Way”. Cue the “Superman” 1950s soundtrack – “able to leap…..”

“The American Heroes Channel” nee: ‘the military channel’ gave much glorification to Wernher Von Braun. A known SS officer that becomes the Disney sponsored face of space exploration all kindness and light and a desire to fly in space, except for that time he developed weapons of terror as a weapon of mass destruction to punish the mongrel peoples of Non-Fascist Europe. Damn but the conquered people did not like fascism, for this, they would be punished. Those still “occupied” would be slaves to that evil will of hell-spawn. Working to death inferior peoples fit the world view and self definition of Nazi fascists. The AHC all but said the US could never have gotten into space without operation paperclip to import the Peenemunde engineers and Von Braun specifically.

To that, I say BS.

Robert Goddard predated the German efforts and was ignored and ridiculed by the same MSM that later wanted to canonize Mr. Goddard as rocket pioneer. The MSM is as good as it gets in redefining realities. Presto a Major in the SS War Criminal becomes the object of admiration of school kids of America by a pass of the photovoltaic magic of cinema imported to living rooms at minimal cost compared to going to the “movie house” as was the case a decade before the mid 1950s.

Disney Corporation was only cutting the template for the MSM we confront today in such “channels” as the American Heroes Channel.

After weeks of fascist promotion of stained persons of our history, now the outlet is atoning for all by broadcasting “commercial free” the film “Schindler’s List”. Too little, too late.

FoMoCo tried the same thing in the 1990s.

No matter how the MSM tried, the history of FoMoCo CANNOT BE HIDDEN so easily nor as completely as the Ford Family wishes. “The International Jew” under the name Henry Ford as an open fascist, cannot be unpublished. This is why I never owned a Ford car but one.

Not that I have any more respect for the Sloan family of GM, of the coal/oil empire of the damned Rockefellers, but FoMoCo was open it is abuse of workers and hiring of thugs for company enforcement. Fascists love to hire criminals and thugs as the front men in the streets.

Today the same character is demonstrated in the Koch Brothers invasion of the MSM and Congress. Undue enrichment and the like are the fascist way of life.

In the title of this post, I referred to the citizen’s choice. To do this the focus must be shifted from the overtly powerful to the views one may encounter in daily life for the average Joe and Jill SixPack and kids.

Things like comments about “how many white people are killed by the cops and nobody says anything about that….” Or children bullying each other for no damn good reason. It is all hate born of a false self definition as “better than…..”

Hate born of left-or-right is bullshit and the antithesis of America as the land of the free and the home of the brave.

Division of WeThePeople is equally un-American, but endlessly promoted by the MSM and factions like the myriad of hate groups being supported by some powerful people. Think Ruppert Murdock and those like him.

Hate consumes the hater before it escapes the individual to harm other individuals.

I learned about hate early and direct contradiction to the trend in my environment in the time of Goodman, Schwerner and Cheney. While I heard slander of the “outside agitators” coming to Mississippi, innately I rejected that idea. I knew the “solid south” had a century to change and was not going to change until forced to rid itself of the citizens’ councils and the FBI promoted KKKlan.

Terror is the enemy today, but terror long before 9-11 was the tool of those that would force a choice upon you as an individual. Fascists or “Commies” the terror is the same.

All that MSM bull is the template for the American Heroes Channel to think all can be mended by broadcasting an anti-fascist film without commercial interruptions. Three hours of a film atones for days of fascist promoting bullshit?

No way. Beware the agenda of the MSM, it is not all about JFK,RFK, MLK and MX. It is also about today.

After all it is my choice to reject hate and the MSM bull.

It is your choice to be made too.

I won’t tune in the broadcast of Schindler’s List, but I may watch the film on disc.

As many non-Jewish people were eliminated in the halocaust as the Jewish folks.

Hate is nondiscriminatory in practice.

Hate hates all including self.

All murder is murder.

All lives matter!

Jim
