Staffan Westerberg and Pete Engwall have written an excellent expose of one of the most insidious means used to shape our perceived reality.  Ignore, hide or twist the truth into an incoherent miasma of empty thought. Distract the populace with even larger servings of football, beer and porn. If anyone dares to try to peek behind the curtain, their sanity, character, patriotism, morals and motives are quickly drawn and quartered in the Colosseum of Public Opinion.

What's probably the most sobering implication of all of this is the seemingly endless line of supposedly educated people who willingly sign on to carry out the agenda of programs such as these. Empty, hollow, smiling faces whose reward must be the smug satisfaction that they have managed to deceive and control the herd.

C.D. Jackson was Ike's war-time psyops chief brought back for the two terms 1953-1961.

Jackson wrote the October 1952 speech calling for all agencies of government to speak with a single voice.

The Commission concept of Rostow with Acheson was resisted by, but forced on, Johnson and Hoover.

Who is the drive wheel and who is the driven?  Johnson no mastermind, heartattacked the year after Hoover, the year before Nixon finally downed by Helms.

With the aid of "crusading journalist" (and deep cover spook) Woodward.

We should be getting the picture from Snowden's departure and serial revelations.

We know that no successful "journalist" promotes conspiracy over the lone-nut dogma.

The First Amendment freedom of the press does not allow the truth of covert operations.

See also Destiny Betrayed by Jim DiEugenio regarding cards prepared for Carson by NBC lawyers grilling Garrison in pre-show session.

And we should be getting the message from the hacking of Hasting's Mercedes preventing his revelation of Brennan's Putin-like persecution of critical journalists--I mean, journalists, not official megaphones.

Following the McDill request for software to run groups of online artificial identities supported by geographic data.

Sunstein's call to infiltrate chatrooms.

There is a government-media-academe troika with a lock on dogma.  You will be burned at the stake as a heretic if you doubt the Magic Bullet.

Also, in the wake of the old Cold War, you must believe we can arm today the people we fought yesterday.

That debt is a sin but creating new money out of the ether is redemption for which your future is mortgaged.

That your breath is harmful to the environment hence you must begin dying.

This is a corollary to the given all men are ultimately enemies, all blocs dissolve in strife, arms are manufactured to be destroyed and replaced.

In the meantime pay strict attention to Kardashian booty, NFL cheerleader beaver, reality show insipidness and the latest shooting incident.

Have a Nice Day!

The hollow, empty people who rule humanity have learned how to play our emotions as adroitly as Frank Wisner  keyed his Mighty Wurlitzer. Commit or allow some unspeakable atrocity and viola ... the recruiting offices are overflowing with outraged, willing lemmings for the next contrived chasm to leap into. We never seem to learn. We fall for the same ploys over and over. They use our emotions, that which makes us really human, as the main weapon to bring out that savage part of our psyche that we try so hard to keep contained. Those who  are incapable of feeling anything have learned how to  control us by using our own humanity against us. A pathetic irony is it not?
